Position Overview.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with at least 10+ years of expertise in C/C++, Unix, and database technologies to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, managing client communication, and overseeing the successful integration of complex components within Agile project environments.
This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities.
• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ professionals, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
• Design, develop, and implement complex solutions using C/C++, Unix, XML, and databases (DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Oversee client communication, providing timely updates and managing expectations, including handling hotfixes and urgent client requests.
• Engage in release planning, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining quality.
• Manage and oversee JIRA ticket creation, tracking, and issue resolution in Agile environments.
• Actively participate in the integration of complex components across various platforms.
• Take responsibility for version control management, including SVN, GitHub, and build processes (build master, staging).
• Provide guidance on UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring the highest standards of testing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the integration of business requirements with technical deliverables.
• Provide expertise in AS400 and Mainframe technologies, with a preference for candidates with additional knowledge in these areas.
• Maintain strong domain expertise in P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance, contributing to product and solution innovation.
