SAP SD FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT WITH SAP TM INTEGRATION

Denmark Type Contract SAP SD Functional Consultant with SAP TM Integration Next Ventures are currently executing an experienced Danish SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in integrating SAP SD with SAP TM (Transportation Management).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, configuring the SAP system, and ensuring smooth integration between the Sales and Distribution and Transportation Management modules.
This role requires deep knowledge of both SAP SD and SAP TM, with an emphasis on optimizing sales processes and transportation logistics.
Location Jutland onsite Partial / Remote working also.
Duration 6-12 months S4 Hana Project.
Ideal consultant must be able to read write and speak Danish to be able to communicate with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Requirement Gathering and Analysis Work with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements related to sales, shipping, and transportation processes.
Analyze and document business processes and align them with SAP SD and SAP TM functionalities.
System Configuration Configure the SAP SD module to manage sales orders, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
Set up integration points between SAP SD and SAP TM, including transportation planning, freight cost determination, and delivery scheduling.
Configure transportation lanes, routes, and carrier selection within SAP TM to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Integration and Data Flow Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and SAP TM modules, facilitating accurate data flow for transportation planning and execution.
Develop and implement solutions for order-to-cash (O2C) processes, including sales order creation, delivery, and invoicing, with transportation management considerations.
Testing and Validation Create and execute test plans for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Work closely with QA teams to validate configurations and ensure system reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD and TM integration during testing and post-go-live.
End-User Training and Support Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP SD processes and TM integration.
Provide ongoing support to users, resolving issues and enhancing system performance.
Serve as the primary contact for post-implementation support, ensuring business continuity.
Project Management Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Participate in project planning, status meetings, and risk management activities.
Document project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing SAP SD and TM processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to the current system.
Participate in cross-functional teams to implement new functionalities and system upgrades.
Qualifications Educational Background.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience.
5+ years of experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience integrating SAP SD with SAP TM.
Proven experience in full-cycle SAP SD implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
Technical Skills.
In-depth knowledge of SAP SD configuration, including sales orders, pricing, billing, and shipping.
Strong understanding of SAP TM functionalities, including transportation planning, freight cost calculation, and carrier management.
Proficiency in SAP master data management and integration technologies (e.
., IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs).
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
