SAP S/4HANA FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT  MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS (M&A)

United States Type Contract SAP S/4HANA Financial Solutions Architect Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Financial Solutions Architect to lead and manage the implementation, integration, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA financial systems for our rapidly growing manufacturing business.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably dealing with a solid track record in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
This role requires not only deep technical knowledge but also the ability to align the SAP landscape with evolving business needs, especially in the context of M&A activities.
Remote working role.

Duration 6 months + Key Responsibilities.
SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Architecture.
Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA financial solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Architect end-to-end financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
Develop integration strategies with other SAP modules (e.
., MM, PP, SD) and external systems.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support.
Lead SAP financial integrations during M&A activities, including data migration, process harmonization, and system consolidation.
Provide due diligence support and design scalable solutions for post-acquisition integration.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, financial, and reporting requirements during M&A.
Manufacturing Focus.
Design SAP financial processes tailored to the unique needs of the manufacturing industry, including costing, inventory management, and capital asset management.
Support product costing and profitability analysis for both healthcare products and machinery.
Business Process Optimization.
Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver optimized SAP solutions that enhance financial visibility and decision-making.
Drive the continuous improvement of SAP systems, including the development of custom reports, interfaces, and workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing operations, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
Act as a liaison between business users and the IT department, translating business requirements into SAP technical solutions.
Training & Documentation.
Lead end-user training sessions and create detailed documentation of system configurations and business processes.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP S/4HANA configurations and customizations.
Compliance & Reporting.
Ensure that all financial solutions comply with regulatory standards (e.
., IFRS, GAAP) and internal audit requirements.
Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial consolidation.
Key Qualifications.
Education.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
SAP S/4HANA certification (Financials) is highly desirable.
Experience.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP Financials (FICO) with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA.
Proven experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), particularly in the financial integration and post-merger consolidation process.
Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, with specific knowledge of manufacturing environments.
Deep understanding of finance business processes, including product costing, profitability analysis, cost center accounting, and asset accounting.
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling (CO), and Treasury.
Experience in integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
Hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration and SAP Fiori/UI5.
Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management principles.
M&A Skills.
Demonstrated experience in financial system consolidation, data migration, and integration during M&A transactions.
Ability to manage financial due diligence and post-merger financial system integration activities.
Soft Skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional Information.
• Occasional travel may be required to manufacturing facilities or to meet with acquisition targets.
• This position reports to the CIO or Head of IT, depending on the organization structure.
