SAP PP CONSULTANT

Thailand Type Contract Next Ventures are currently search for a SAP PP consultant for a 6 months contract opportunity in Bangkok with option to extend for the Vietnam roll out a further 6 months.
Candidates need to be fully available for contract position, full time 40 hours per week starting in 2-4 weeks, As a SAP PP Consultant, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP Production Planning module for a leading manufacturing client.
You will work closely with the client’s business teams to understand their requirements, optimize processes, and deliver effective SAP solutions to enhance production planning and management.
Key Responsibilities.
Requirement Gathering.
Work with business stakeholders to gather and document production planning and manufacturing process requirements.
System Design and Configuration.
Design and configure SAP PP modules to meet the client’s manufacturing needs, including materials management, production orders, and scheduling.
Integration.
Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and QM (Quality Management).
Customization.
Provide custom solutions or enhancements as required to meet specific business needs.
Implementation.
Manage the full life cycle of SAP PP implementations, including testing, training, and go-live support.
Support.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of SAP PP systems.
Process Optimization.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.
Training.
Conduct end-user training sessions and create user documentation.
Project Management.
Lead or participate in project planning, timelines, and deliverables related to SAP PP.
Key Requirements.
Experience.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP PP module implementation and support, particularly within the manufacturing industry.
Experience with at least two full SAP PP lifecycle implementations.
Technical Skills.
Strong expertise in SAP PP configuration, including BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP, and production orders.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Familiarity with integration points between SAP PP and other modules like MM, SD, and QM.
Understanding of production planning processes and manufacturing operations.
Soft Skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality solutions.
Education.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Languages.
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of Thai language is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications.
SAP PP certification.
Experience in a consulting environment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
