SAP ABAP SENIOR CONSULTANT

We are searching a Senior SAP ABAP Consultants to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
They will be responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• SAP ABAP Consultant is accountable for project development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business systems; • Analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate that into detailed programming designs; • Developments in ODATA using Gateway Service Builder (SEGW); • Developments in SAP areas SD, FI, CO and MM to meet client business requirements; • Programming designs and perform the development required to translate them into efficient and accurate code; • Effectively communicating with internal and external customers possessing various levels of technical knowledge; • Quickly solve/determine problems working with technical/non-technical groups in areas that may not be primary area of expertise; • Use service specific tools and procedures; • Identify opportunities to enhance existing business operations using new SAP functions; • Identify root causes and solution for recurrent problems; • Create and update technical documentation and knowledge database; • Work with other IT personnel on any configuration change affecting areas outside of SAP's ABAP and perform rigorous testing; • Coaching junior team members.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 6+ years of ABAP experience; • Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies; • Good analytical, logical problem solving skills with the ability to understand new tasks quickly; • Experience with developments using ODATA, Gateway Service Builder (SEGW); Fiori, Ui5, CDS Views, API, ATC, TDD, etc.; • Experience with S4 HANA will be a plus; • Compliant with agile methodologies; • Experience working with on/off shore team; • Open to work with different cultures and mind sets; • Available to punctual travels when needed; • Excellent communication and soft skills; • Good level of English, speaking and writing.
