Dining Room Manager & General ManagerGeneral Purpose.
The restaurant Host is the first employee to interact with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant.
It is the job of the Host to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat them.
The guests receive their first impression of the restaurant in their exchange with the Host.
pecific Responsibilities.
nderstands he/she is the first impression of guests whether at the door or on the phone and behaves in accordance with high standards set by restaurant reputation.
aintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests at all time.
nows at least 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts and can explain them to a guest/caller.
eports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.
aintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area.
ills in for multiple positions as needed.
elivers a prompt, accurate report of all income received during shifts worked.
ualificationsAble to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
esponsible, dependable, punctual, adaptable.
etail oriented, behaves calmly and recognizes order within chaos.
uperior communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
lean and professional appearance.
asic math skills.
emonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
ust pass a background check.
ducation/Formal Training.
High school or equivalent education required.
xperience with Open Table preferred.
