We are looking for a qualified Research Laboratory Assistant to join our team in the Development of immunomodulating formulations for systemic administration project of the CInTech Agenda, under the PRR framework.
Job Duties The job duties will be the following.
Assist research activities related to the synthesis of nanoparticles, na nocarriers and nanoformulations; Assist research activities related to the chemical functionali s ation of nanoparticles, na nocarriers and nanoformulations; Perform technical physico -c hemical analysis and characterisation of developed products; Perform advanced functional magnetic character is ation of developed products; Perform c el l culture and biological assays; Regular progress report writing and presentations; Attend consortium meetings.
Mandatory Qualifications   Education MSc Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent.
Experience and Technical Skills Experience in nanotec hnology / nanomedicine research; Hands on experience on synthesis and characte ris ation of nanomaterials (e.
., magnetic NPs, nanocomposites, silica NPs); Experience on the functionalisation of nanostructures (e.
., prote ins, peptides, genetic material) Experience with adva nced physicochemical characterisation technologies (i.
., TEM, SEM, ICP, TGA, HPLC, VSM, SQUID).
Other Preferred Qualifications Hands on experience with cell culture, 2D/3D in vitro models and in vitro characterisation assays; Experi ence with drug delivery systems; Experience with organic che mistry synthesis and characteris ation techniques; Experience with the implementation of Safety protoc ols and procedures in Chemistry/Biology oriented labs; Previous participation in collaborative national, international and/or industrial research projects.
