ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for Colleagues and guests, ensuring a seamless daily operation and overseeing the growth and development of the department Colleagues.

$What you will be doing.
ssist & ensure seamless daily operations of beach and pool areas with an emphasis on luxury service standardsConduct pre-shift briefingsAssist the Director of Recreation with special projects and hotel activitiesWork closely with the departmental leadership and staff to provide support and direction.
ake ownership for guest's cabana, reservations and special requests.
Work closely with the concierge and activities agents.
otivate, lead, coach and monitor the performance levels of all team members.
anage labor and payroll by creating weekly schedules in compliance with labor management guidelines and updating time cards as needed.
omplete colleague performance reviews and discussionsRecord & control inventory, including ordering of department's operating equipment including chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc.
upervise, coordinate and direct prompt, efficient and courteous service in & around department's areas.
Assign and control side duties in a fair and reasonable manner.
nsure the delivery of luxury service by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit while maximizing profit potential.
stablish and maintain effective colleague relations, watch proper staffing levels and labor hours.
aintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guestsFocus attention on problem resolution and guest satisfaction with beach and pool experience, including activities vendors.
romote and enforce health and safety awareness as well as to have a complete understanding of the emergency proceduresQualificationsYour experience and skills include.
inimum 1 year work experience in a luxury resort environmentMinimum 1 year leadership experience required, preferably in a luxury resort environmentPool/Recreation experience in luxury environment is an asset.
etail and customer service experience is an asset.
xperience with Ocean Safety & DLNR Policies and Procedures is an assetMust be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
equires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
ust be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
ust be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally.
