QUALITY ANALYST

This hybrid role requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) and/or the client office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for various software applications.
• Perform automated and manual testing to ensure the quality of software products.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Utilize Java, Selenium, REST Assured, and SOAP UI for comprehensive testing, including API and UI testing.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify, document, and track defects and ensure their resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Provide detailed reports on testing activities, results, and quality metrics.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Proven experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium for automated testing.
• Experience with REST Assured for API testing and SOAP UI for web services testing.
• Strong SQL skills for database validation.
• Familiarity with UI testing tools and techniques.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
