Position Description.
Job Overview.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in automation testing and software development with a proven record of accomplishment in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
You will play a crucial role in improving our automation testing strategy, leading automation initiatives, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our applications.
Responsibilities.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, regression, and performance test cases for microservices and APIs.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless automation workflows.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, focusing on optimal coding and refactoring.
• Perform TDD, test strategy planning, and implementation for new features • Provide detailed test reports using Allure and other reporting tools.
• Utilize tools like JIRA, TestRail, and Confluence for test management and documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in automation best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment and actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Experience & Skills.
• Minimum Experience.
7+ years in software development and test automation.
Technical Skills.
• Proficient in Java 8 and Spring Boot for building automation frameworks.
• Experience with Maven, JUnit 5, TestNG for test management and execution.
• Experience with Allure Reporting for test result analysis.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Splunk for logging and monitoring test results.
• Proficiency in messaging platforms like Apache Kafka.
• Expertise in Rest Assured and HTTP Client for API and microservices testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Optimal Coding, and Refactoring techniques.
• Solid knowledge in Selenium WebDriver, Appium 2.

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Proficient in designing and implementing test utilities and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail.
