PYTHON DEVELOPER

Position Description.
CGI is looking for a python developer for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications and tools Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Experience with Python framework and designing and writing integrations.
• Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
• Good experience in data exploration and analysis using Python • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, testing, and debugging.
• Application Development.
Design, code, and test Python applications that deliver efficient and reliable solutions for various business needs.
• Integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Python applications with other systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Code Maintenance.
Maintain, refactor, and update existing Python codebases to ensure they remain efficient, secure, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
• Data exploration and analysis using Python • Version Control.
Utilize version control systems to manage code changes, collaborate with team members, and track progress.
• Documentation.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including code comments and system architecture diagrams.
• Agile Development.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 6+ years of IT experience.
• 6+ years of demonstrated technical proficiency with Python related projects.
• Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing your skills.
• Proficiency in writing efficient and maintainable Python code.
• Experience with Panadas, Numpy, SciKit libraries.
• Experience with web frameworks (e.
., Django, Flask).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with relational databases (e.
., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Very strong in technical concepts, Analytical and Problem-solving skills, with ability to confidently interact with other client-side teams.
• Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
