The Galaxy Needs Heroes." The show combines sharp humor with a visually dynamic aesthetic, featuring a mix of sci-fi adventures and adult cartoons.
The series follows a team of quirky, morally gray characters transitioning from galaxy bandits to reluctant heroes.
Key Responsibilities.
- Animate characters in a moderately detailed and expressive manner - Create dynamic backgrounds and environments - Design and implement special effects - Collaborate on creating storyboards for episode planning - Rig characters for smooth and flexible animations - Create accurate lip-sync animation for dialogue scenes - Compose scenes to enhance visual storytelling - Work closely with writers to ensure visual elements align with the script - Incorporate lighting effects to create mood and depth - Revise animations based on feedback from the creative team - Synchronize animation with sound effects and music - Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for new episode ideas - Ensure continuity and consistency across episodes Ideal Skills and Experience.
- Proficiency in Digital 2D animation - Prior experience in character animation, designing backgrounds, and creating special effects - Ability to understand and work within our unique comedic and visual style - Experience with sci-fi themed content is a plus Each episode is expected to be minutes long.
The animation will be done using Toon Boom Harmony.
The timeline for project delivery is flexible based on animator availability.
The special effects should be moderately detailed.
Animators are expected to work closely with writers, storyboard artists, and the creative team throughout the production process.
The target audience for the series is adults.
The project is currently in the pre-production phase.
Each episode should be delivered on a monthly basis if we have a successful Kickstarter.
The animation style should be cartoonish and exaggerated to align with the humor and dynamic aesthetic of the series.
Animators will be highly involved in the storyboard creation process, working closely with the creative team to shape each episode's visual storytelling.
