Any Colt Europe location   Role purpose The role is to manage the end to end product lifecycle of IP Services at Colt.
This includes.
Proposition, product, price, position Detailed product specifications and requirements for product development Drive the product development to required output P&L Ownership of the product line by tracking costs and revenue performance and price strategy.
Execute product launches Support sales and pre-sales Evangelize the Colt proposition externally     Key accountabilities Define the product requirements and initiate / sponsor respective product developments Manage and monitor that all product capabilities are meeting customer requirements and initiate any necessary mitigation To specify, coordinate and document specific customer requirements for the respective products Plan and execute product development based on the requirements Monitor and manage the profitability of the respective products Maintain the relevant product plan (investments) Be the expert of the product portfolio and support major customer opportunities To create and maintain product documentation for sales Ensure the product is positioned correctly in the market and priced competitively Track and report regularly on the product line business performance and create dashboards, executive reports and initiate business actions Participate in major sales opportunity boards to evaluate the project requirements and advise on win chance strategy Evangelize the Colt proposition externally with analysts, award submission, external speaker slots     Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial) Timely delivery of the roadmap Market traction of new product developments Product success in terms of bookings, revenues and profitability Ability to educate and support the sales force on your product   Relationships and key contacts Product management is a key role with a wide range of supporting units.
Sales and Pre-sales Engineering and Operations Regulatory and Legal Finance Marketing External industry analysts, exchange or market operators The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent team working and interpersonal skills to work effectively with these functional units.
Role specific requirements Skills & Experience & Qualifications Strong experience in Product Management environment, preferably B2B.
This includes portfolio management, product planning, competitive analysis, pricing Solid background knowledge of L3 telecommunication services and the relevant marketplace (competition, customer profiles, suppliers…), especially Internet Access, IP Transit Strong practical & hands-on product development experience, candidates with experience working in the Colt system stack are preferred Experience working in an international environment Excellent articulation skills (verbal and in writing) and proven expertise in presentation techniques.
Able to interact with press and analysts.
Being able to present and position complex topics from a customer perspective Excellent English language skills (writing and verbal) with knowledge of at least one other Colt country language Degree or equivalent in a related technical or business field.
