POWER BI DEVELOPER

Position Description.
Looking for Power BI Senior Developer ideally with SQL/Data Experience with below skills.
• Primary Skills.
Power BI, ETL • Must have 7-10 year of experience in software development • Must have 7+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Must have 4+ years of experience with database programming experience using SQL on multiple relational database platforms, preferably MS SQL Server using SSRS and SSIS • 6+ years of experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations and graphs.
• SSRS Integration to Power BI.
• Experience in Data Gateway for data refreshing, content Pack Library.
• Expert in publishing reports to app.

• Excellent knowledge connecting Microsoft Power BI Desktop to various data sources.
SQL Server is desirable.
• Experience in Custom Visuals and Groups Creation.
• Experience in Managing Embed Codes • Experience in reporting tools like Tableau • Good to have.
Banking experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities.
• Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain reports using Power BI including Power BI scripts • Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI • Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI • Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models • Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain MS SQL Report Builder models • Implement, support, and maintain Microsoft based user software and associated overnight processing components • Investigates and corrects software defects and analyzes and maintains data quality • Collaborate with CGI cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions • Interacting with the IT and Business Teams by actively participating in requirement/design reviews, providing input on completeness of functional & technical requirements, design elements and schedules • Collaborates with the Solution Architect to devise and implement technical solutions • Formulates and defines scope and objectives pertaining to the technical solution • Analyzes and revises solution or data quality logic based on current environment or technology challenges.
• Works with the Business Analyst to translate business requirements to actionable technical requirements • Coordinates with the Project Manager to schedule releases, set timing expectations, and communicate status • Creates or modifies code to resolve problems considering computer equipment (on-premise or cloud) capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results • Complete assigned tasks (may include analysis, design, coding, peer review, testing, or deployment activities) • Prepares comprehensive documentation, and ensures timely completion of assigned work • Will be in direct contact with project managers, architects, junior team members (onshore and offshore), have worked closely with customers and must demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction.
• Performs ad-hoc data quality analysis and provides written summaries of results, including recommended corrective actions, for non-technical business users Soft Skills.
