The sky is the limit!Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Engineering, Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following.
onsistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly serviceEnsure the overall maintenance of the facilityMonitor preventative maintenance programs on property, inspect completed PMs, add and update Hotsos system.
ake sure ongoing building maintenance is being kept up to acceptable property standards including HVAC, plumbing, physical plant equipment, electrical and fire life safety systems.
esponsible for making sure that we are in compliance with all regulations according to Fire Life Safety codes and annual inspection reports.
ssists with obtaining proposals from contractors/ outside vendors regarding projects/ services needed while ensuring all contractual work accepted meets hotel standards.
athers direct information from all Supervisors on daily basis and provides back up reports to the Director of Engineering.
ssists in the hiring and disciplinary duties of the department.
ill be required to work weekends, holidays and shift work as scheduled by the Director of Engineering to ensure proper operations of the hotel.
orrect and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazardsMaintain all actions in a Daily Activity Maintenance LogAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayOversee the resort operations in a lead Engineering positionFollow department policies, procedures, and service standardsFollow all safety policiesQualificationsRelevant building maintenance experience is an assetPrevious experience in a Manager roleComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications Must have experience in the following areas.
2 years chillers, boilers plant operations, and 3 years leadership position.
asic knowledge of painting/wall covering, electrical, plumbing and carpentryMust have ability to lead a team of up to 12 colleaguesAble to coordinate with other departments to successfully run the preventive maintenance programMust be able to read, write, speak English fluentlyMust have ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagramsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableOn call 24/7 to meet needs of the department.
