To help them expand their Development team, we are searching for a Mid-Level E-Commerce Developer with strong expertise in e-commerce platforms to work on exciting long-term projects.
Main Tasks.
• Platform Development.
Contribute to building and maintaining e-commerce solutions using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify, implementing standard features and functionalities...
• Backend Development.
Develop and maintain PHP-based customizations for e-commerce platforms, focusing on payment flows, checkout processes, and order management features.
• Theme Customization.
Implement modifications to existing WordPress and WooCommerce themes, ensure responsive design, and maintain platform standards.
• E-commerce Features.
Build and maintain product catalogs, shopping cart functionality, and payment integrations within established e-commerce platforms.
• Performance Optimization.
Assist in implementing performance improvements for WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including basic caching and code optimization.
• Security Maintenance.
Help maintain platform security through regular updates, implement security patches, and follow established security protocols for e-commerce systems.
• Plugin Customization.
Modify existing plugins and implement new features to meet business requirements within WordPress and WooCommerce environments.
• Testing & Quality Assurance.
Conduct thorough testing of platform updates, custom features, and ensure compatibility across different platform versions.
• Team Collaboration.
Work effectively with designers, content managers, and other developers to implement e-commerce solutions according to specifications.
• Technical Growth.
Develop expertise in e-commerce platforms through hands-on experience and stay current with platform updates and best practices.
• Documentation.
Maintain documentation for platform customizations, plugin modifications, and development procedures.
Some Good-To-Have Skills.
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Proficiency in responsive design techniques for e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern e-commerce UI/UX trends and best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SASS/LESS for e-commerce themes.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms for e-commerce hosting.
• Knowledge of headless commerce and RESTful API implementation.
• Experience with popular e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento).
• Understanding of payment gateway integrations.
• Experience with caching solutions (Redis, Memcached) for high-traffic stores.
