OPERATION & MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

The  Tejo-Mondego Production Center Department, of  EDP Produção, whose mission is to ensure the operation and maintenance of the respective hydro power plants, namely facilities, systems and equipment, promoting the implementation of policies, plans and procedures aligned with the company's strategy and ensuring compliance with the objectives and commitments assumed, with the maximization of income and minimization of costs, complying and enforcing compliance with safety and environmental standards, intends to reinforce its  Electrical Maintenance team – Alqueva Unit.
What you will do.
Operations.
Support the operations of the plants, enhancing the availability of equipment in strict compliance with occupational health and safety procedures, as well as environmental and industrial risk procedures; Monitor the behavior of the facilities, in order to anticipate potential problems or efficiency gains; Coordinate and/or execute diagnostic processes in order to identify the root cause of technical problems of an electrical/automation nature.
Maintenance.
Support the interface with internal specialized Divisions and external suppliers; Coordinate and/or execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance actions.
Planning; Prepare tender procedures, launch market consultations and coordinate the respective execution of works; Manage contracts for the provision of external services and supplies; Supporting the definition of the needs for investment works, maintenance services and spare parts for the purpose of defining the multi-annual budget and the scheduled maintenance plan.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in  Electrical Engineering; Professional experience above 3 years in your field of academic training, preferably in the area of programming,command and control; Collaboration and networking; ability to cope with pressure; agility and speed; curiosity and self-development; good interpersonal and team relationships; Proficiency in English Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;     More than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose [1].
