About the Role.
We are looking for an Open Innovation Digital Technologies Stream Leader for our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg.
This position, which reports to the Open Innovation Leader, is part of our Open Innovation Team.
The primary responsibility is to oversee digital technology initiatives that pertain to product development, R&D, and other key projects.
The goal is to ensure new opportunities in the field with the Open Innovation approach and support Ferrero to stay ahead in technological innovations, retaining its competitive market position.
While immersing yourself in an exciting open innovation and entrepreneurial environment, in this position you will have the opportunity to design solutions for the problems of tomorrow and make an impactful difference, not only within Ferrero but across the entire market landscape enhancing the consumer experiences on a global scale.
Main Responsibilities.
Covering this position, you will follow the entire lifecycle (from idea to acceleration-deployment) of concepts involved in advanced digital technology projects related to Open Innovation and Strategy & Innovation, all while collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include the management of the digital technology scouting pipeline, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and long-term guidelines, as well as acting as an entry point to the Open Innovation team for any digital technology-related inquiries/initiatives.
Moreover, as a Digital Technologies Stream Leader you are expected to represent Open Innovation by providing insights and updates from the digital technologies’ perspective, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, build inclusive relationships and develop synergies across boundaries.
Aiming to help the company spearhead digital innovation and technologies discovery, you will monitor technological innovation trends, develop reports and dashboards to highlight ecosystem trends and support the definition of new business opportunities.
You will also act as a sparring partner throughout all project development phases, supporting the translation from innovation to product and R&D within the Open Innovation scope.
Who we are looking for.
You will bring your Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Innovation Management, IT or other related fields and more than 10 years of experience in the digital technology field, with a focus on leading projects involving technological innovation, product development or R&D inside a multinational organization and/or a technology-driven startup.
Bridging technology and product development, you will also bring your interest and experience in dealing with topics such as Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence.
Mindful of your goals, your strong drive for results and ease in communicating your ideas clearly and passionately to multiple stakeholders will be key to excelling in this role.
Moreover, you are fluent in English.
