NETWORK

Position Description.
Network Design and Implementation.
· Design and plan network infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and technology trends.
· Implement and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers...
· Deploy and manage network protocols, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking technologies.
Network Operations and Maintenance.
· Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
· Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
· Conduct regular maintenance activities, such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration backups.
· Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions to support business growth and technological advancements.
· Collaborate with capacity planning teams to forecast future network requirements.
Documentation and Reporting.
· Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and standards.
· Generate network performance reports, incident reports, and metrics for management and stakeholders.
· Contribute to the development of network documentation, policies, and guidelines.
Vendor Management and Collaboration.
· Manage relationships with network equipment vendors, service providers, and contractors.
· Coordinate vendor support, service agreements, and procurement of network hardware and software.
· Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, including systems administrators, security engineers, and application developers, on network-related projects and initiatives.
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
· Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and software (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
· Experience with network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VPN, etc.).
Skills.
· Strong knowledge of network design and implementation best practices.
· Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications · Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP etc., · Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
· Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)..
Must have experience on Cisco ACI, FortiGate firewall and F5 Load balancers.
