I need a Minecraft enthusiast to join my player community and help grow my server by connecting with other Minecraft players online.
This is a paid position for someone who genuinely enjoys playing Minecraft and interacting with other players.
Responsibilities.
1.
Join and Explore the Servers.
• Complete the Discord verification process.
• Read and follow all server rules and steps to gain access to connection information.
• Join the Minecraft server and explore the various game modes to find your favourite.
2.
Community Outreach.
• Find Minecraft-related subreddits like r/MinecraftBuddies that allow posts about looking for groups.
• Post engaging questions, such as “Do adults still play Minecraft?” during peak activity times.
• Interact with commenters and offer to DM them the Discord link if they’re interested.
• Use any other source of players such as other discord servers, social media, streaming, etc to find active and friendly Minecraft players.
• Investigate the new potential players to make sure they are nice people and do not do mean things on their profiles.
3.
Onboarding New Players.
• Welcome new players to the Discord server and engage with them in the general chat.
• Guide them through the verification process and help them access connection information.
• Encourage them to join the Minecraft server and start playing.
4.
Active Participation.
• Spend time actively playing on the server (not AFK time).
• Build relationships with community members to foster a positive and engaging environment.
• Host group events on the server for your new players.
Requirements.
• Must already love playing Minecraft.
• Comfortable using Discord and Reddit.
• Strong written communication skills to engage with players online.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to community rules.
• Availability to play and post during peak activity times.
Compensation.
• Paid for all active time spent playing on the server and engaging in the tasks listed above.
