MCE _ PLM ADVISORY CONSULTANT

Position Description.
Key Responsibilities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by assessing current PLM systems, tools, and processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
preferably dassault • Provide strategic recommendations for future state PLM processes and frameworks, aligned with the client’s business objectives and industry best practices.
• Advise customers on selecting the most appropriate PLM solutions (such as Dassault, Siemens, PTC Windchill, Teamcenter, etc.) to meet their current and future needs.
• Lead workshops and discussions with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, identify pain points, and present best practice PLM strategies.
• Develop and present detailed roadmaps and implementation strategies for PLM system improvements or new PLM deployments.
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic PLM goals.
• Provide functional expertise to drive the integration of PLM with other enterprise systems like ERP, MES, and CRM.
• Recommend process optimization solutions to enhance efficiency in areas such as BOM management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and Product Data Management (PDM).
• Support clients in vendor selection for PLM solutions by conducting RFPs, RFIs, and evaluating products against key business criteria.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PLM and provide ongoing thought leadership to customers.
• Assist in the development of business cases, including ROI analysis for PLM investments.
• Provide functional oversight during PLM implementations to ensure alignment with the proposed strategic plan and process improvements.
Required Qualifications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 18 + years of experience in PLM consulting, with a focus on providing strategic advice and process improvements.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with leading PLM platforms (e.
., Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Aras Innovator, 3DEXPERIENCE).
• Strong understanding of PLM processes, including product development, design collaboration, BOM management, and change management.
• Proven track record of delivering PLM transformation projects, including roadmap development and solution selection.
• Experience in industries like aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, electronics, or high-tech is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLM integration with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, and supply chain systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical PLM specifications and provide functional oversight.
• Experience with process modeling, gap analysis, and solution architecture in the PLM domain.
Preferred Qualifications.
• Previous experience in a PLM advisory role, with a focus on strategy and business transformation.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for PLM implementation.
• Certifications in specific PLM platforms (e.
., Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, PTC).
• Experience in developing RFPs, RFIs, and supporting PLM product/vendor selection processes.
