hat you will be doing.
Perform all , and 120-minute massages, body, and face treatments.
aintain knowledge of current trends in massage & body work industries.
aintain ample inventory of necessary products to perform treatments, all in an orderly and neat fashion.
eport for appointments on time and thoroughly review appointments after completing each service.
rovide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
nsure a positive first impression of the Spa for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
aintain complete knowledge of all wellness & recreation services, activities, amenities and hotel services/featuresUp-sell and promote wellness & recreation offers at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.
erform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set spa facilities according to standards and proceduresBe well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the HotelQualificationsYour experience and skills include.
bility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageAbility to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantageAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamDetailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
inimum of 1 year of experience as a massage therapistPrevious experience in 5-star hotel or day spa is recommendedProvide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in a Spa (Hawaii Licensed Massage Therapist)Additional certification(s) in a Spa will be an advantage (Lomi-lomi, First Aid, CPR, AED)Additional InformationDirect service providers such as Massage Therapists are entitled to earn 'commissions.'Massage Therapists are eligible to receive % 'commissions' of the price paid and received by the Hotel for the service performed by the provider.
