Maintenance Engineer Location.
Mindelo, Vila do Conde Position Overview    The position of Maintenance Engineer reports to the Facility Engineer and has primary responsibility to support in all activities related to Maintenance.
The job holder will assist in the implementation of preventative/predictive maintenance strategies alongside breakdown repairs.
Primary Responsibilities.
Develop and update a comprehensive list of all equipment’s in use on site and load all available information onto the Maintenance Supervision Software (Man-Win-Win); Adjust and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Preventive Maintenance Plan for the entire site considering the different requirements (both internal – like PSM or external – like legal requirements); Assisting to all Maintenance activities for the different equipment’s on site.
Checking and recording production equipment’s operability and advising when maintenance is required; Aid preventive maintenance planning and suggest improvements in order to minimize repairs and downtime; Assisting in maintenance actions on the site (e.
.
breakdown repairs), ensuring they are accomplished within the agreed timing and cost; Support ad-hoc personnel (operators) or contractors as needed to complete specific work; Assist the Facility Engineer in developing a detailed Mechanical Integrity Program; Help to define engineering requirements for equipment and infrastructures, as well as contribute to develop the necessary engineering projects; Keep actualized the documentation of equipment and infrastructures; Help to ensure that engineering projects are designed and delivered on time and in budget including all applicable Safety aspects as well as productivity enhancements; Minimum Requirements.
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrotechnical Engineering 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English Experience with PC skills in Windows environments is required.
Must be willing to travel as training may take place at other HB Fuller locations if required.
Preferred Requirements.
Professional degree in maintenance (mechanic or electric) Experience in a multinational company environment Good knowledge in electricity, pneumatics and hydraulics Relevant experience in the use of ManWinWin maintenance management software; Relevant experience in SAP Relevant experience in drawing (Autocad or similar) Knowledge of LEAN tools Reading, interpretation and elaboration of electrical schematics (EPLAN or similar) #LI-SC1 H.
