LOGISTICS OPERATOR

WE ARE LOOKING FOR Addvolt is seeking a Logistics Operator with high energy and a strong work ethic to join our Procurement & Logistics Team at Porto.
We’re looking for punctual and teamwork-oriented candidates, driven to monitor inventories, to manage shipping and receiving operations, to handle documentation, to cooperate with different teams and meet operational goals.
This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
The candidates should also demonstrate flexibility, a commitment to the company's needs, and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
As Logistics Operator you will.
• Plan and schedule shipments, including inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse and prepare them for shipping.
• Prepare shipping and receiving packages and documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
• Communicate with external parties such as suppliers, transport companies, and freight forwarders.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle issues such as damaged goods, shipping errors, or delivery discrepancies.
• Perform picking of goods from the warehouse to the manufacturing assembly lines.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular physical inventories, and update the respective inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure that all areas are kept in and organized, orderly, clean, safe and efficient operating condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure that handling, transportation, and storage procedures meet safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Team to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support and training to other Operators.
• Be committed to fulfill goals.
Experience in the above-mentioned roles is highly valued.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; CET and/or equivalent (Level 5 - CNQ – DGERT) degree in a related area is a plus.
• Forklift and Category B driving licenses (Mandatory).
• Have experience working in an Industrial or Automotive sector.
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of Quality and integrity.
• Willingness to work in various conditions, including high places, confined spaces, and around highvoltage equipment.
• Must be able to lift 35 kilos and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and maneuver, if necessary.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Have a proven intermediate knowledge of English.
