We are looking for a Linux Engineer to join our team.
Main responsibilities.
• Contribute to the development of high quality, reliable, fast, scalable and responsive systems • Maintain and improve different application environments within the scope of a worldwide company, defining the best implementation strategies • Take advantage of our evolving tech-stack and current application lifecycle to contribute with continuous enhancements • Maintaing a customer focused approach, making sure we can achieve the defined Service Level goals Job Requirements.
• Successfully completed technical studies in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or similar experience (3 to 5 years) • Experience in interfacing with Development and Infrastructure teams (Project or Product Teams, from design to production) • Operation and integration in High-Performance environments • Excellent understanding of Linux Administration (SLES, CentOS), Virtualization with VMware (as a user), and products like Wildfly or PostgreSQL • Professional experience with Scripting and/or Automation with at least 2 of the following.
Bash, Ansible, Perl, Python • Configuration and deployment automation with Jenkins, optionally • Strong technical and procedural documentation skills • ITIL and Service Management knowledge, certification is desirable • Very good knowledge of English (C1) and excellent communication skills What we offer.
