LEAD ANALYST - SAP CHARM & SAP SOLUTION MANAGER

Position Description.
Job description for the skills and activities required from a good Solman consultant to handle daily Solman Charm / Release tasks in accordance with ALign context.
Change Consultant general skills.
- SAP Solution Manager Consultant- Minimum 8 to 13 years of functional experience with Solution Manager.
- Significant experience in SAP applications service delivery management - Very good hands on knowledge of SAP release management (SAP SolMan Charm and Release functionalities…) - Should have end to end implementation and use experience with SAP Solution Manager ChaRM & Retrofit.
- Should be able to independently handle design and configuration related to Solution Manager integration with third party tools (ServiceNow) - Ability to develop processes and procedures for governance around the use and deployment of Solution Manager Charm and Retrofit - Able to understand and work with a complex Release management process in an S/4HANA implementation programme.
- Responsible for the execution of Align project scheduled releases & associate delivery strategy.
- Responsible of the day-to-day Solman ChaRM environment usage - Operational monitoring and execution of Retrofit tasks - Prepares communications related to ChaRM and Retrofit activities - Confirms release readiness for deploymentIn the Air Liquid context, Change Consultant.
- Ensure that the ChaRM activities are part of the ALign Release Management process and guidance.
- Check that the incoming “Change Requests” from MMS (ServiceNow) are created with the good information for the right ChaRM Release Cycle so that they can be processed in Solman “Change Documents”.
(in that sense that he/she will be the first one to handle the request after it has been created by requesters in MMS and manually (or in mass) incorporated to Solman Charm).
- Ensure that the incoming “Change Requests” are documented with the required infor­mation, follows standard guidelines for Change Management, and contains the required project and scope data.
- In the change process (i.
., normal, or urgent), the Change Consultant role also involves ensuring that conditions and required status are fulfilled for approval or release of a change to the production system.
