Position Description.
We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join us as a "Java Solutions Architect" in our Banking Services Division in Toronto.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at Toronto Downtown for minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• In this role, you will serve as a pivotal Java Solutions Architect, specializing in the enterprise payments domain within the banking sector.
• Your primary responsibility will be to architect and design faster payment solutions that align with best practices, compliance standards, and business objectives.
• As a Java Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, software developers, and infrastructure experts, to define technical strategies, design robust payment systems, and ensure seamless integration with banking infrastructure.
• Your expertise in Java and enterprise-level application development will be instrumental in creating scalable, secure, and high-performance payment solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in Java programming, including Java EE (Enterprise Edition), Java SE (Standard Edition), and related frameworks, • Proficiency in designing and architecting complex, enterprise-level systems and applications, with a focus on faster payment solutions • Experience in designing microservices-based architectures, understanding of faster payment systems (ex.
email money transfer), knowledge of security including encryption/authentication/authorization • Integration experience with external APIs, messaging systems, familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) • Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and database systems.
