Java Developer - Mid-level Location.
Brussels, Belgium Hybrid.
2-3 times a week on the client´s office Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium Mandatory Languages.
One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable Job Description.
We are looking for a talented Mid-level Java Backend Developer with experience in building scalable and efficient backend systems.
You will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing our core backend services and applications.
Responsibilities.
- Design and develop scalable, efficient backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate; - Implement microservices architectures and integrate with external systems via RESTful APIs; - Write automated tests using JUnit and Mockito; - Optimize backend performance and ensure high availability; - Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions; - Follow Agile practices, participate in sprint planning, and review tasks.
Requirements.
- 4-6 years of experience in Java Development - Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate; - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and related tools (Docker, Kubernetes); - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.
., MySQL, MongoDB); - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab; - Experience in building RESTful APIs and implementing security protocols (e.
., OAuth2, JWT); - Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
