JAVA DEVELOPER / HYBRIS (SAP COMMERCE)

Position Description.
Do you want to join a world-class development team and work on exciting projects with prestigious clients? CGI Montreal is looking for an intermediate Java developer with experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) to contribute to ambitious and innovative projects.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
- Understand and assimilate the target solution architecture.
- Configure and customize the features of selected platforms (e.
., SAP Hybris).
- Develop robust and high-performance code that meets complex needs.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews with other team members.
- Participate in the development of the product catalog and key features such as price management, promotions, carts, inventories, and deliveries.
-Contribute to troubleshooting and solving performance issues.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
- Bilingual (French and English) with clear and effective oral communication skills.
- Reside in the province of Quebec and be authorized to work in Canada.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
- At least 2 years of experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris).
- Expertise in designing and developing RESTful services (JSON).
- Strong knowledge of the Spring Boot framework and its ecosystem.
- Proven technical leadership, capable of transforming business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a desire to contribute to the development of a world-class engineering team.
- Proficiency in agile practices, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges with creative and innovative thinking.
- Strong motivation for continuous learning and developing new skills.
