Position Description.

We are looking for a candidate to expand our team to satisfy growing international demand.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
As a Java developer, you will join the team working on implementation for concrete customer.
Your responsibilities will include.
• Work on agile development of CGI real-time payments processing platform = our unique solution for our clients in the banking industry • Use reactive and event-driven programming • Use distributed computing (based on IMDG Hazelcast) • Focus on high performance and high availability as the system has to process thousands of TPS on 24x7x365 basis • Performance tuning • Participate in planning tasks and support team leaders in coordination of activities • Cooperation on analysis and design of the requirements • Take part in the local as well as the international implementation projects • Cooperate on the maintenance and support activities Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Essential Qualifications • Knowledge of Java and JEE platforms, Spring, REST, JMS • Advanced communication skills in English, fluent in Czech or Slovak • Openness and willingness to learn is a must Desired Qualifications • Spring/Spring Boot • IMDG Hazelcast Jet • Docker • Kubernetes / Prometheus / Kibana • Azure / AWS • Application servers (Websphere/Weblogic/Tomcat) • Oracle 12c / Cassandra / PostgreSQL • Java / Groovy / Typescript / Javascript • Other tools (SCM, Build, code review, automated deployment) • Knowledge of UNIX, Shell scripting • Reactive and event-driven programming Professional Attributes • We would welcome a pragmatic, flexible and customer oriented team player, willing to share ideas and happy with virtual collaboration What expects you in CGI.
