IT QUALITY ENGINEERING CONSULTANT

Position Description.

• Responsible for end-to-end test planning, design and review test cases with project stakeholders and documentation • Responsible for overall quality of testing deliverables/activities • Responsible for automating functional test cases using existing framework and perform integration and regression testing using this framework • Build and review Test Plan/Execution document, Test Suite, Traceability matrix etc.
and walkthrough with different teams, plan and coordinate defect triage • Support the implementation of the QE Program and overall QE process and standards through continuous test execution and reporting Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Proven ability of 5 years in application testing in a QE/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, Business workflows and services/APIs, databases) • Must have 5 + years of experience in Python • Must have 3 + year of experience in Robot Automation Framework • Must have 3+ years of experience in API testing • Excellent Working knowledge.
JavaScript, Unix, SQL, Selenium Details regarding the types of experience required.
• Expert in leading test case design to provide efficient optimal coverage though unit test, component/service-based tests and complex “real life” test scenarios • Experience in several test automation frameworks/tools (SoapUI/Ready API; Robot Framework) and script development using scripting languages (e.
., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) • Excellent knowledge in designing and coding of automation test scrips using Robot Automation Framework, Python, Selenium and API • Hands on experience in complex SQL queries and working with large amount of data.
• Excellent knowledge of DevOps and Integration of automated testing into DevOps pipeline – Excellent knowledge of Jenkins • Ability to analyze complex problems and troubleshoot • Excellent knowledge of Jira, HP ALM and Ready API or Postman • Partners with Application Development Leads to integrate quality engineering attitude/concepts within the DevOps framework/pipeline Education / certification requirements • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related work experience What you can expect from us.
