What will they do as an IT Platform Engineer? Working with a team of other talented infrastructure platform engineers and architects.
Maintaining and enhancing their cloud-based environment, which delivers fully automated infrastructure services to both internal teams and beyond.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including our IT service delivery organization, data analytics and integration teams to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities.
* Platform engineering.
Design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
* Automation & scripting.
Develop and implement REST APIs, automation workflows and configuration management scripts to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
* Infrastructure optimization.
Modernize legacy systems for optimal cloud performance, maximizing resource efficiency and ensuring cost-effective operations.
* Collaboration.
Work closely with other agile cross-functional teams, including our IT service delivery organization, data analytics and integration teams, to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem.
* Documentation & best practices.
Document configurations, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and compliance across the infrastructure.
