WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Addvolt is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Technician self-motivated, with high energy and strong work ethic to join our After-sales team at Porto, supporting our national and international partners efforts.
The ideal candidate would have experience and passion for vehicles, power electronic systems, and interest in electric vehicles technology.
The Installation & Commissioning Technician is the on-site manager, coordinating all activities for the installation, testing and final activation of all Addvolt Systems.
This is a generalist position requiring knowledge across the mechanical and electrical fields.
The position also requires the ability to provide hands on assistance to mechanical and electrical installers.
The position requires international and domestic travel greater than 50%.
AddVolt Installation & Commissioning Technician work alongside industry leaders on projects that deliver significant impact to the company and to the transportation industry.

As an Installation & Commissioning Technician you will.
Work with AddVolt After sales team to provide direct support to installation partners efforts.
Train and inspire the Addvolt installation partners.
Plan, execute and supervise the installation and commissioning to the final activation and handover.
Ensure compliance to customer specifications and company requirements.
Creation and update of installation and commissioning documentation and operating procedures for use by the partner and the customer.
Provide oversight for the mechanical and electrical installation of Addvolt systems.
Take a lead role in resolving installation challenges, procedures, and methods by working with Addvolt Partners, management, engineering and quality control.
Perform installation and commissioning of new systems alongside Addvolt partners within the schedule.
Promote efficient flow of information and ensure complete and proper record keeping of commissioned systems.
Maintain familiarity with system designs, drawings and standards, as well as, applicable industry good practices.
Work with operations and vehicle leaders to develop and enforce safety protocols and standards aligned with industry best practices.
Be able to provide quality technical feedback and make resource-efficient decisions based on priorities.
Conduct annual assessments of installation partners.
Implement scalable process improvements.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS.

Some college or technical education, in Electrotech, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related areas.
Significant demonstrable experience in an installation/commissioning role.
Good communication skills for interacting with Addvolt partners and customers on a daily basis.
Desire to understand detailed technical and operational processes, hunger to improve processes, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
Fluent communication in English language.
German or French language is a plus.
Previous experience of 1-3 years in technical support is a plus.
Availability to travel abroad.
Driving License B1, B.
