INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER - GCP

As an Infrastructure Engineer you'll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure pieces of a system.
You will also oversee the migration process and design, maintain and monitor the new cloud platform, as well as configuring hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and the cloud environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills and leadership ability, with the communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the IT team.
This project focuses on creating resilient, multi-tenant base services on GCP.
It involves implementing a hub and spoke architecture to improve resource management, enhancing security and availability, and extending the Istio service mesh across both GCP and Azure to achieve a seamless, cloud-agnostic infrastructure that supports our diverse range of products and platform.
What will you do? • Experience using Cloud provider AWS.
• Experience setting up CI/CD and AWS networking and accounts.
• Experience with Serverless and Event Driven Architectures • Experience with Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• A solid understanding of CI/CD independently from the tools - Github, Github actions and Jenkins are a plus) • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its tools, such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloudformation or CDK • Experienced with monitoring using Grafana and or Kibana or other.
• Experienced with language for automation task and scripting such as Bash, Python or Javascript.
