We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Lead Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions.
This role will focus on creating scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments using IaC principles.
The IaC Lead Engineer will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.
Additionally, this position involves optimizing the existing Azure landscape to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud services, automation tools like Terraform or ARM templates, and a proven ability to work across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to define and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Optimize existing Azure infrastructure, including IoT solutions, to enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and manage automation scripts using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI to support IoT environments.
• Design and deploy Azure IoT solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other cloud services and devices.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and governance for both general infrastructure and IoT systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and IoT-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct regular assessments of infrastructure and IoT performance, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on IaC, Azure services, and IoT best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, including Azure IoT, and apply them to improve infrastructure solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Candidate for this role should have a strong technical background with 6-8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and automation.
A deep understanding of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is essential, along with hands-on experience using Ansible for automation and configuration management.
The candidate must have extensive experience working with Azure services, including resource management, networking, and security configurations.
Familiarity with Azure IoT is highly desirable, as the role involves managing IoT infrastructure within the Azure ecosystem.
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in cross-functional teams, and proficiency in automation and cloud technologies are key for success in this role.
Certifications in Azure and related technologies would be a plus.
