BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Industrial Engineer - Continues Improvement RedX / 6Sigma (Problem Solving) (M/F/D) at our production plant in Viana, Portugal.
Key Accountabilities.
Dive into Continuous Improvement identifying and eliminating inefficiencies Develop and lead Kaizen, value stream mapping and problem-solving activities Support the Industrial engineering team in daily activities Develop presentations to customers, employees and team members using data analysis and visualization techniques Lead Advanced problem-solving methodology to identify root causes on critical issues Use DMAIC, statistical process control (SPC), and process capability analysis Lead Process Optimization, cycle time reduction, capacity improvement, and scrap reduction.
Education & Experience Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering 3-5 years of professional experience in Engineering Very good knowledge of quality tools and lean methods Very good knowledge of Industry 4.
