NoneGeneral Purpose.
erforms maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC.
The engineer will have a professional appearance and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and after normal business hours.
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and shows pride in their work.
leans and maintains all equipment and work areas.
ocuments all parts used and parts needed to be purchased.
ssist in maintaining inventory.
he engineer will make guest satisfaction a priorityReports any unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer.
pecific Responsibilities.
hecks with Front Desk daily to make sure all guest issues have been resolved.
eeps Maintenance call logs and records action taken.
articipates in the preventive maintenance program, including repairs and updates as needed.
onitor any external or 3rd party vendor maintenance jobsChecks HVAC loop temperatures are at normal operating temperatures.
hecks domestic hot water temperatures.
hecks the HVAC management system and identifies problems and solves them.
alks building daily looking for lights out and any obvious breakdowns, blemishes or other problems.
ble to monitor, read, and interpret equipment such as meters, DDC air conditioning controls, hot water boilers, cold water storage tanks, other water sources, and blueprints/schematics.
Reports to Chief Engineer any issues that are identified.
ble to repair electrical items such as lighting, exhaust fans, and emergency lighting.
ble to repair kitchen, fitness center and Spa equipment.
ble to identify and repair water leaks.
ollows up on Housekeeping calls for maintenance issues.
ixes all broken furniture as assigned.
nsures that all work orders are completed.
hecks with Chief Engineer to make sure inventory is up to parChanges air and water filters throughout buildingConducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.
ssists valet in resolving guest auto issues such as jump starts and flat tires.
ssists Guests with internet connectivity issues.
ssists other departments within the property as needed.
ualificationsMust have basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management and building maintenance skillsMinimum two years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing.
inimal comprehension and literacy required to read instructions, repair manuals, must be able to read and accurately interpret schematics and building blue prints.
