About the Role.
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg we are currently looking for an Ice Cream Strategist to join our Brand Marketing Strategist Ice Cream Team.
The focus will be on strategy and innovation development at global level for Premium Ice Cream such as Ferrero Rocher, Raffaello, and Local Jewels of the entire Ferrero Ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities.
With regards to Ice Cream (IC) category strategic planning and budgeting, you will analyze the innovation competitive scenario to identify the major trends, you will perform category and cross category business analysis and you will contribute to IC strategic category long term vision.
Furthermore, in this role you will analyze food/category trends, strategic framework and competitive scenario while considering new raw materials/ technologies as well as market strategic opportunities to design the innovation pipeline for Premium Ice Cream and Local Jewels in the future.
As the Ice Cream Strategist, you will support the decision-making process through ad-hoc business analysis and you will develop budget plans and resources requirements for the assigned category at Group level.
In relation to category innovation, you will lead the development of the whole marketing mix of new products for Innovation (brand positioning statement, recipe, visual identity, PPA) in alignment with the innovation pipeline goals, while ensuring the landing of delivering projects in full coordination with Marketing.
Besides preparing and taking part in the research field activities you will deeply analyze research results, to identify and propose opportunities of marketing mix fine-tuning ensuring a deep understanding of premium dynamics in the ice cream category.
Moreover, you will be monitoring the category, ensure a disciplined portfolio architecture and brand innovation pipeline development to ensure fulfillment of the innovation roadmap and alignment with Executive Chairman guidelines.
Last but not least, you will track and ensure IC innovation pipeline development while ensuring global alignment with the category P&L shape.
Who we are looking for.
You will bring your Master’s degree in Marketing or Business and your 5-7 years of experience in a global Marketing function and/or in a multinational ice cream or FMCG company.
Your knowledge of ice cream business as well as in product development, your experience in strategy and budget implementation and established skills in delivering innovation from the concept idea to the deployment of the mix in all its levers will help you meet your role’s objectives.
You have a strategic and flexible mindset, strong analytical skills, a sharp marketing mindset and a consumer-driven approach developed in a multi-market multicultural environment.
Based on your previous work experiences you have developed the ability to interpret and maximize the use of sophisticated market research tools (e.

Nielsen/IRI DBs) You are a great project manager, and you are well known for your dynamism, flexibility, proactiveness with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and uncertain situations within strict deadlines.
You are a person genuinely curious with a lateral thinking and influencing skills while you are result driven.
You are fluent in English and have strong presentation skills being effective in the way you communicate across all hierarchical levels.
Moreover, you have strong knowledge in MS Office.
Last but not least, you are available to travel often, and you are interested in international career development.
