Product Owner - ERP We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner for our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions team.
The ideal candidate will drive the product vision, ensure alignment with business needs, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional ERP products and solutions.
This role demands a mix of strategic thinking, subject matter expertise, and hands-on involvement to shape our product offerings and meet customer expectations effectively.
Key Responsibilities • Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering.
o Conduct detailed research and analysis of the business domain, organizational workflows, and market trends to identify and generate requirements.
o Prepare and articulate clear and actionable business requirements for product teams and other stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement.
o Host forums or conduct working group sessions and user group meetings to collect and analyze feedback from end users.
o Participate in industry forums or community groups to stay abreast of emerging trends and nuances, ensuring the ERP product adapts to evolving business needs.
• Subject Matter Expertise.
o Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for identified areas, providing deep insights and guidance on functionality, trends, and enhancements.
o Mentor and groom business analysts and SMEs within the team to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
• Collaboration and Communication.
o Transition requirements and use cases to designers and developers, ensuring smooth understanding of integrations, workflows, and dependencies across product features.
o Collaborate with Product Managers and internal stakeholders to identify gaps, prioritize enhancements, and align on the product roadmap.
o Assist sales teams and stakeholders with demos, RFP responses, product evaluations, and brainstorming sessions.
• Quality Assurance and Review.
o Review functional design documents, user stories, and other functional artifacts to ensure alignment with business needs.
o Participate in concept and design reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure the solution meets expectations.
• Strategic Vision and Decision Making.
o Contribute to shaping the product roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and market demands.
o Research provincial and international markets to understand regional variances and align the product for global applicability.
o Advise on alternative solutions, articulate trade-offs, and provide final recommendations to stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of ERP systems, business workflows, and domain-specific nuances.
• Exceptional analytical skills to research and translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.

• Experience in hosting and participating in forums, user groups, or industry events.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to write and review user stories.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in mentoring and developing team members is a plus.
