GUIDEWIRE CONFIGURATION LEAD

Position Description.
The Property & Casualty Insurance team is looking to staff client engagements with skilled Guidewire Configuration Lead Analyst.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Leading a team of Onshore & offshore developers to design and Implement Guidewire screens, business rules, underwriting rules and workflow etc.
• Responsible to lead implementation & support for multiple Guidewire XCenters • Implement new products using APD, Guidewire rating etc.
• Experience in integrating Guidewire centers with downstream systems using services (SOAP/REST), file or message queues.
• Create architectural diagrams, design documents based on functional specifications developed in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases.
• Conduct user story / sprint demonstrations at the end of sprint / release.
• Participate in Agile Sprint ceremonies, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospective sessions.
• Be responsible for following Guidewire coding standards, performing peer code reviews, product performance etc.
• Be comfortable to switch roles between Configuration and Integration.
• Conduct end user training by means of workshops, training guides and operation manuals.
• Work with globally distributed across geographies for the purpose of delivery • Work with internal development, testing teams to support requirements clarifications throughout the project execution.
• Work with business Analysts, Test Manager, Scrum Master and Program Manager for various project activities.
Qualification.
Mandatory Skills.
• years of experience in delivering wide range of technology solution across Insurance Industry • At least 7-8 years of experience in leading large Guidewire implementations • Hands on Guidewire Implementation proficiency and experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration development – expertise configuring and developing several areas of PolicyCenter including but not limited to Product Model, Rating Model and Rules, Underwriting Rules, Data Model, PCF Wizards, Workflow and Activity.
• Hands on experience using Advance Product Designer, Claims Auto Pilot etc.
• Independently lead a team of developers, train & motivate them to deliver successful outcomes Nice to have.
• Guidewire ACE Certifications for PolicyCenter/ BillingCenter / ClaimCenter • Agile Certifications(Scrum / SAFe) • Experience in implementing cloud solution • InsureTech enthusiast Technical Skills.
• Guidewire, Edge and REST APIs • Experience working on Java, DBMS, Cloud, Integrations (Web Services, Message Queues, Service Bus), DevOps, Web/Mobile developments using Angular/React etc.
• Management tools like Confluence, Jira, Rally, HP ALM • Microsoft Office suite, Visio etc.
