GRID CONNECTIONS STUDIES ENGINEER (TRAINEE)

• Analysis of Grid Codes and Client’s technical requirements.
• Perform Steady-State simulations to ensure the compliance with the Grid Code requirements and the correct balance of the Power Plants.
• Perform Dynamic simulations to ensure the compliance with the Grid Code requirements.
• Perform Protection and Coordination Studies as well as Arc-Flash Studies to ensure the correct operation and safety of the installation and people.
• Optimize the Grid Code Compliance process through the development of scripts.
• Provide technical support on the Grid Connection Studies to all the business lines and geographies.
• Oversee the Grid Connection Studies when these are performed by external consultant.
QUALIFICATIONS.
The ideal candidate will have/ be.
• Degree or master’s degree in electrical engineering – Specialization in Power Systems or Energy.
• Experience with power system simulation tools (PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python).
• English language domain.
