GLOBAL DIGITAL MARKETING SENIOR CONSULTANT - ONE-YEAR CONTRACT

Position Description.
The digital marketing senior consultant is responsible for helping to manage CGI’s global external digital platforms and channels, including CGI.
om and branded social media channels.
With a specific focus on optimizing the website experience, SEO and customer journey, the senior consultant leverages expert knowledge of digital marketing techniques—such as search engine optimization, user experience, and social media—to raise awareness and preference for CGI among clients, prospects, and candidates, while also protecting CGI’s reputation.
This position is for a one-year contract and the successful candidate will report to the Global Director of Digital Marketing, which is part of CGI’s Marketing & Communications Department.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Help serve as one of CGI’s in-house digital marketing experts, providing strategic consultancy to corporate and operations teams to help advance global and local client and candidate awareness strategies.
• Improve visitor journeys across CGI.
om, social media, and other digital platforms, using trends, data analysis, and competitor/market research to provide recommendations that improve visitor/follower volume and enhance engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
• Continuously monitor and improve website usability, navigation, and layout to provide an optimal user experience.
• Partner with global and regional teams to align with regulatory compliance requirements and best practices in the areas of security, data privacy and accessibility.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and evolution of tools, processes and dashboards that maintain, monitor and report digital performance results across key platforms such as Drupal, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Sendible, Mouseflow, etc.
• Work closely with global Editorial and Creative Services teams to align website updates with broader marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Support quarterly earnings and annual filing disclosure activity, and CGI.
om and social media integration and promotions following acquisitions.
• In collaboration with other digital team members, coordinate web projects, including website content audits, taxonomy, and landing page creation, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business needs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• University degree in marketing and communications or a similar discipline • Minimum 5-7 years working as a digital marketing senior consultant in the fields of web, social, search engine or related discipline • Knowledge of digital marketing measurement and monitoring tools, including content management systems, search or social management platforms • Proven background in SEO, content integration in a CMS platform, CX, and technical performance to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Understanding of digital marketing strategies and best practices across paid, earned and owned media strategies, including knowledge of the competitor landscape • Excellent organizational skills combined with the proven ability to effectively manage projects • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels #LI-TT1 Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
