Location.
Portugal (Portuguese residency required) Work model.
Hybrid (Porto or Lisbon 1x per week) DAYTODAY DUTIES.
Design develop and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java (Spring Boot).
Build modern responsive web applications with React leveraging hooks state management tools (Redux Context API) and understanding component lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of RESTful APIs.
Develop and implement solutions using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6) and modern UI frameworks such as MaterialUI or Bootstrap.
Work with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis focusing on schema design and query optimization.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
Write and execute backend and frontend tests using testing frameworks like JUnit.
REQUIREMENTS.
5 years of experience with Java and deep expertise in Spring Boot for building backend services.
3 years of experience developing responsive web applications using React including knowledge of hooks Redux Context API and component lifecycle management.
Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6) with experience using UI frameworks like MaterialUI or Bootstrap.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration between backend services and React applications.
Experience working with both relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB Redis).
Proficiency in version control using Git along with experience in CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit for backend and frontend tests.
