Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain highly scalable and performant web applications using Java , Angular, Spring, JMS and Kafka.
• Comfortable in handling Frontend and Backend Development and Units Tests.
• Design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the program’s strategic direction • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate testing and deployment of applications on AWS.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product owners, architects, tech leads, fellow engineers, data modelers, and stakeholders) to deliver high-quality software.
• Fully engage in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design reviews, code reviews and test automating.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on web development frameworks, and best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 10+ years of software development experience • Strong experience with Java and its core concepts(Streams, Lambda, Exception Handling, Multithreading, DataSource).
• Handson experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, ORM (Hibernate, Mybatis), REST API, Webservices, JMS and Kafka.
• Experience working with SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience with unit test frameworks like Mockito, Junit.
• Exposure to CI/CD and AWS Cloud Infrastructure / Services.
• Exposure to Karate/Cypress Test Automation is a plus.
• Passionate about engineering excellence and a knack for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code.
• Understand how to operate in an Agile environment and to deliver using an acceptance test driven development (ATDD) approach • Committed to collaboration and open communication in your work • Experience in Finance industry is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
