FIELD CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER | OIL&GAS

BDM  is currently searching for a  Field Construction Engineer  for a client in the  oil&gas sector, an exploration and production  (E&P)  company involved in the acquisition, development, and production of oil and natural gas fields, holding majority interests in three hydrocarbon licences in Gabon, Brazil, and Namibia, and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange since .
This company is part of a large global Norwegian group specialising in maritime energy, transport, and floating gas infrastructure and has over 80 years of history.
This position involves working as either a Field Production Engineer or a Field Construction Engineer at a construction site or production facility within one of the company's 3 operating countries or construction yards.
The role is rotational, requiring adaptability and strong leadership capabilities.
This role is open to candidates with less than 5 years of experience with a background in general engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
A willingness to work onsite is essential.
Main Responsibilities.
Optimization.
Collaborating with the site manager to monitor and optimise processes using key performance indicators (KPIs), whether in production or construction.

Leading and motivating a substantial team to achieve operational excellence while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Main Requirements.
Educational Background.
A degree from a recognised engineering institution, specialising in oil and gas production, construction, or a related field - Bachelor in Science or Masters' in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or other applicable education.
Language Proficiency.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
French language skills are a plus.
