EVENT MANAGER

Position Description.
We are looking for an Event Manager to support the evolution of CGI s brand in Canada and to generate leads through events, by collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
You have 10+ years in events management, are dynamic, have a good team spirit and great organizational skills? This role is for you! Your future duties and responsibilities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO -Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and manage the annual events planning, as well as create, plan, coordinate and deliver different events (webinars, networking events, conferences) that meet CGI s objectives -Give strategic advice on the choice of events, formats, activations, etc -Prepare a detailed outline of the event needs, build, monitor and maintain concise and accurate event budgets -Develop promotional activations and communications assets (invitations, landing pages, social media messages, etc) -Implement metrics to measure the success of our events.
-Monitor indicators, build reports and ensure the continuous improvement of our approach in order to obtain the best results -Ensure all events are aligned with the CGI brand -Develop new event materials to support the Marketing team (event formats, speakers guidelines, etc.) -Monitor the new trends of the event industry (hybrid and in person) -Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of each event WHAT YOU WILL LOVE TO DO -Being creative, always looking for new event trends to create and promote CGI events -Creating dynamic content by trying new concepts -Organize event logistics for virtual and in-person events Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
-You have at least 10 years of experience in the production of client events -You possess exceptional organizational and project management skills, with high attention to detail -You know how to work independently -You re a good problem solver with a go-getter, positive attitude -You possess the ability to learn quickly and adapt to situations well in a fast paced, changing environment -You get stuff done effectively and meet deadlines (proactive) -You are a people person with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships externally and internally -You are able to prioritize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously - Excellent knowledge of French and English is required for the role of Event Manager for our Canadian operations since the successful candidate will be required to support and collaborate with French and English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders across the country.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
