The Event Concierge is the liaison between the Event Salesand/or Event Planning Manager and the on-site meeting contact.
This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests.
It requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details.

trong understanding of client programs and eventsPerform Meeting Room Inspections, Cleanliness and Maintenance walkthroughsMonitor Customer Personal and Practical Needs, anticipating their needs and making sure that they are satisfied throughout the entire dayImmediate Response is Key (Respond within 5 minutes, resolve with 15 minutes)Provide added services to repeat customers who may have hinted to something previously.
rovide feedback to other departments involved in planning and organizing the functionMeet and Greet Site inspections and attend necessary hotel planning meetingsService Recovery (turn a negative experience into a positive experience before the guest departs the hotel)Special projects when scheduling allowsQualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environmentRefined verbal and written communication skillsCandidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-taskMust be able to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, weekends and potential holidaysA fun and energized person and quick to make personalize connectionsCommitted to delivering a high level of customer service and to remain calm under pressureMust be proficient in general computer knowledgeAbility to stand for long periods of time with continuous walkingDemonstrates Hyatt Values.
