Chief EngineerSupervises.
NoneGeneral Purpose.
erforms maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC.
leans and maintains all equipment and work areas.
ocuments all parts used and parts needed to be purchased.
eports any unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer.
pecific Responsibilities.
hecks with Front Desk to make sure all guest issues have been resolved.
hecks HVAC loop temperatures are at normal operating temperatures.
hecks domestic hot water temperatures.
alks building daily looking for lights out and any obvious breakdowns, blemishes or other problems.
ollows up on Housekeeping calls for maintenance issues.
ixes all broken furniture as assigned.
nsures that all work orders are completed.
hecks with Chief Engineer to make sure inventory is up to parChanges air and water filters throughout buildingConducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.
ssists valet in resolving guest auto issues such as jump starts and flat tires.
ssists Guests with internet connectivity issues.
ssists other departments within the property as needed.
ualificationsMust have basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management and building maintenance skills.
inimal comprehension and literacy required to read instructions, repair manualsEducation.
