Your New Role As a ModernWorkplace Consultant, you will support the business as the first line ofcontact.
You will work within the IT Services infrastructure team, whichconsists of approximately 100 IT professionals.
You will help design,implement, and manage modern workplace solutions using Microsoft 365technologies.
Responsibilities Act as a primary technicalcontact for key technical areas, coordinating with stakeholders andcolleagues as required.
Contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of IT initiatives.
Configure tools toautomate the provisioning, testing, and deployment of infrastructure.
Produce and own system andinfrastructure designs, policies, and documentation.
Provide reports andproposals for improvements to colleagues and stakeholders.
Provide advice andguidance to support the adoption of methods and tools.
Drive IT Services in themigration towards a code-centric model for managing infrastructure.
Proactively manage ITinfrastructure to minimise business disruption and identify and driveinitiatives to improve the quality and effectiveness of the infrastructureservices.
Manage and provide 3rdline support for infrastructure platforms in accordance with agreedservice levels, standards, and processes.
Embrace change and supportthe IT Services vision and strategy.
Requirements Experience working withinan Agile environment.
An appreciation of DevOpsprinciples.
An appreciation ofInfrastructure as Code principles and how they can be applied in anenterprise environment.
Device management and deployment (e.
., Intune, Autopilot).
Understanding ofvirtualisation techniques (e.
., VMware vSphere).
Packaging and delivery of applications.
Relevant certifications,such as in Microsoft 365, are advantageous.
Technical Skills Expertise in modernworkplace technologies (e.
., Microsoft 365).
Operating Systems (e.
.,Windows ).
Client applications (e.
.,Office 365, Teams, OneDrive).
CVAD – Citrix VirtualDesktop Infrastructure, Citrix Cloud, XenApp.
Machine build scripting(e.
., MDT or similar).
Scripting and automationin PowerShell.
Strong systemadministration and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to createHigh-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs.
