Website Performance Optimization We are looking for an experienced developer to help optimize the performance of our website based on insights from Google Lighthouse/PageSpeed Insights.
The main areas to improve are as follows.
Issues to Address.
1.
Reduce Main Thread Work.
Decrease the total time spent on the main thread by at least 6.
seconds.
2.
**Reduce JavaScript Execution Time**.
Optimize code to save **1.
seconds**.
3.
**Minimize Impact of Third-Party Code**.
Reduce delays caused by third-party code, which currently blocks loading by **810 ms**.
4.
**Reduce DOM Size**.
The number of DOM elements exceeds ****; simplification is required.
5.
**Improve Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)**.
Reduce the LCP time to under **3.
seconds**.
6.
**Eliminate Unused JavaScript**.
Remove unused JavaScript, with a potential savings of **130 KiB**.
7.
**Eliminate Unused CSS**.
Remove unused CSS, with a potential savings of **75 KiB**.
8.
**Optimize Hidden Images**.
Optimize images not visible on the screen, with a potential savings of **165 KiB**.
### Expectations.
- Deliver a solution that results in a higher performance score in Google Lighthouse, aiming for a minimum of **85 in Performance**.
- Follow best practices for frontend optimization, including lazy loading, CSS/JavaScript minimization, and image optimization.
- Document the changes implemented to ensure maintainability.
### Requirements.
- Proven experience in web performance optimization and frontend development.
- Evidence of prior projects involving performance improvements.
- Ability to deliver within the agreed-upon timeframe.
